Diana — a quieter, slower way to see the bay.
A brand-new 2025 boutique cruise on Lan Ha, the quieter neighbour to Halong. 56 cabins with private balconies and in-cabin jacuzzis, plus the bay's largest year-round infinity pool.
Diana's route stays in Lan Ha. On the way from Tuan Chau you'll cruise past the karsts of Halong Bay — but the anchor and activities are all in the calm of Lan Ha.
Diana is a 2025-launched Modern Luxury boutique cruise on Lan Ha Bay — the quieter, less-touristed neighbour to Halong. Best suited to couples and small groups who want private balconies and in-cabin jacuzzis, and who value having enough amenities onboard (infinity pool, spa, 270° sky deck) that the boat itself becomes a destination. Two itineraries available: 2 days 1 night, and 3 days 2 nights.
Five things you won't find on most Lan Ha cruises.
-
The bay's largest year-round infinity pool
Roughly 50 m², heated in winter, salt-ion filtration instead of chlorine. Most Lan Ha cruise pools are half this size and close from November to March.
-
An in-cabin jacuzzi in every cabin
Even the entry-level Junior includes a jacuzzi bathtub — not just the suites. Almost every other 6-star cruise reserves jacuzzis for premium categories only.
-
Starlink satellite Wi-Fi throughout the bay
Diana is one of few Lan Ha cruises using Starlink instead of 4G-based Wi-Fi. Signal holds at the Tra Bau anchor and Ba Trai Dao cove where cellular Wi-Fi drops out.
-
Two elevators & step-free access
A rare pairing on Halong-area cruises. Practical for guests with reduced mobility, families with strollers, or anyone who'd rather not climb six flights to the sky bar.
-
Cultural workshops included, not upsold
Dong Ho folk painting, tea ceremony, herbal foot soak, and Viet Phuc traditional attire — all complimentary, not add-ons. Held in dedicated spaces onboard.
Fewer than 4 suite-tier cabins onboard Diana. Reserve your preferred type early.
Designed as a resort that happens to float.
Diana was drawn around one question: what if the amenities of a resort — pool, spa, three restaurants, an observation deck — could sit on a boat quiet enough for Lan Ha's protected waters?
The result: six floors plus a rooftop bar, two elevators (rare on cruises), a 350 m² restaurant, a 270° observation deck, and a mini-golf green on the sundeck. Small enough to feel intimate at 56 cabins; fitted out like a boutique hotel.

What guests say.
Verified reviews from Diana Cruises guests on TripAdvisor · refreshed monthly
"The jacuzzi in the cabin was a real surprise — I thought it would be a small tub, but it was proper. Sunset from the balcony with a bath was the highlight of our trip."
"The crew remembered our names by the second meal. Chef adapted every dish for my wife's shellfish allergy without us having to remind him. Small thing, huge impact."
"I've done Halong twice before with mid-range boats. Diana on Lan Ha is a totally different experience — barely saw another cruise at Tra Bau. Worth the price jump."
